Understanding Welsh Places Festival / Gwyl Deall Lleoedd Cymru

Day 1 – Understanding the data of your place

Tuesday 10 November, 10am – 12pm on Zoom Webinar

Join us for the Understanding Welsh Places Festival; a series of online events supporting and inspiring local communities, decision-makers, planners and policy-makers to make positive changes to the places where they live and work.

To kick off the Understanding Welsh Places Festival, our data expert Prof. Scott Orford will act as your guide through the Understanding Welsh Places website. He will explain the data, analysis, how the website can work for you, and provide a detailed update on the new data coming to the site this year.

We will also hear case studies from town and community councils in Wales on what they have done to enact positive change in their communities, during the pandemic and beyond.

Speakers:

– Delyth Jones – Llanelli Town Council

– Kevin Warren – Clerk Blaenavon Town Council

– Rebecca Smith – Healthy Blaenavon Officer
