The Institute of Welsh Affairs (IWA) is delighted to announce the appointment of two Co-Directors as part of a progressive leadership structure, aiming to drive forward the think tank’s goal to be an innovative, open-minded, inclusive and financially sustainable organisation.

The two Co-Directors are Marketing, Digital and Events Manager, Maria Drave, and Policy and External Affairs Manager, Joe Rossiter, both of whom will continue in their current roles. Each of the directors will take accountability for different aspects of the leadership role, whilst making joint decisions on the strategic direction of the IWA.

The Board are confident that the new leadership structure provides an opportunity to take the organisation through a transitional period and shape its future strategy at a crucial moment for Wales and the UK.

The Co-Directors will ensure the IWA continues to deliver for its members, and on its mission to support better policy making and better economic and democratic outcomes for the people of Wales.
