Why is Wales’ economic development struggling to keep up with its neighbours?
On Wednesday 22 November at 6.30pm, the Institute of Welsh Affairs is pleased to be partnering with Wales in London and Cardiff University to stage an evening of political and economic discussion aimed at stimulating new ideas to address the economic challenges facing Wales now and in the future.
Chaired by renowned Welsh economist Rachel Lomax, the event will focus on discussing ideas for changes in policymaking that will address what is currently most relevant in terms of Wales’ main economic dilemma – why Wales’ GDP per capita is still so low in proportion to other parts of the UK.
The event takes place at Bristows LLP, 100 Victoria Embankment, London, EC4Y 0DH from 6.30pm.
