Deian Hopkin

is a historian and was, in the 1970s, Elystan Morgan’s election agent and later Vice-Chairman of the 1979 Yes campaign in Cardiganshire. A graduate of Aberystwyth University, where he also spent 25 years teaching history, he eventually became Vice Chancellor of London South Bank University.
