Filiz Celik

is a member of Wales PEN Cymru’s Translation and Linguistic Rights Committee. She worked for the Modern Languages and Translation Department at Swansea University on a research project looking at minority languages in Wales and currently works as a tutor at the university’s Department for Psychology and as a Systemic and Family Psychotherapist for a health board.

Human Landscapes from My Country

Before lockdown, Tom Cheesman and Filiz Celik met with Memet Ali Alabora at Volcano Theatre in Swansea, after his performance of the one-man play Meleketimden Insan Manazaralari – Human Landscapes from My Country, written by Nazim Hikmet.
