Join us for a discussion about the challenges and opportunities for Wales in a global green economy.

The global green economy is forecast to reach a value of $10.3 trillion by 2050. What can Wales learn from other countries and regions as it positions itself internationally and charts a course toward a sustainable future?

Our panel for Wales Week in London brings together experience from Europe, North America and Wales to explore the approaches nations and regions with modest populations can take to develop leading positions in a rapidly growing global green economy.

The discussion will be chaired by Institute of Welsh Affairs director, Auriol Miller.

Our panel will include:

  • Dominic Toupin, Director of Economic Affairs, Québec Office in London
  • Nicola Somerville, Head of Business Development and Inclusive Growth, Cardiff Capital Region
  • Aleena Khan, Commissioner, National Infrastructure Commission for Wales
  • Ole Hausted, Wind Energy Adviser, Royal Danish Embassy in the UK

Panel discussion and Q&A will be followed by networking and refreshments.
